How do I order a CV Service ?
Simply select an appropriate package using the guidance provided on our order page. Complete and submit our online order form using the secure card facilities provided by PayPal (you do not need an existing PayPal account prior to ordering). Alternatively, you may order by telephone - again using a major credit or debit card (see order page).
Why doesn't my current Curriculum Vitae, or Resume, get results ?
This may be due to one simple reason, or a combination of factors. Why not forward your existing document for a quick assessment - we will always tell you honestly if we think it cannot be improved. However, in 20+ years of undertaking Curriculum Vitae and Resume services for clients worldwide, we have never been sent such a document ! There is usually room for improvement – often dramatic improvement – and the only ‘perfect’ CV is the Curriculum Vitae, or Resume, that works effectively for you !
What is the best method of ordering ?

Do I need to complete a Questionnaire when ordering a new CV ?
Upon ordering, clients gain immediate access to our online questionnaire and compilation work may only proceed once we have full client details. We can work from existing CV(s) but always recommend that clients peruse and complete any areas not already addressed. If you have never previously needed a Curriculum Vitae, or Resume, then the questionnaire must be completed in full

Do I need to complete a Questionnaire when ordering a Makeover ?
NO. Our fees reflect the potential time to be expended per assignment, thus clients ordering the makeover of an existing Curriculum Vitae, or Resume, should not complete the questionnaire. Your Consultant will aim to improve both content and layout of your document, but will not need to spend time scrutinising a detailed questionnaire. This is why the 'makeover' service is less expensive than the full CV compilation service.
When is my CV likely to be completed ?
Normally within 2 - 3 working days from receipt of Client details, but this can vary with workload. We do offer an Express Service, but will always tell you if we are unlikely to meet your critical deadline – please advise us of any such deadline when ordering. If you are offered a 'same day' cv compilation service, or a 'Professional CV' by return or within a couple of hours, then BEWARE - a truly professional service will expend significant time creating this important document. The fee charged for our ' 24-hour Express Service ' covers the cost of a Professional CV Writer having to spend 'out-of-hours' time (often overnight) to meet client requirements; i.e. we work almost 24 x 7 to assist our worldwide client base.
Can I have a sample Curriculum Vitae ?
No - it has NEVER been our policy to provide samples - and it would be most misleading to do so. As each Curriculum Vitae and Resume is compiled individually, our design approach is only determined once we have sight of a Client's personal details, aims and objectives.
Can I have a sample covering letter ?
Yes - a free guidance sheet illustrating letters of application will be supplied with completed orders - upon Client request.
Will my CV compilation be assigned to a Professional CV Writer ?
Most certainly - YES. Although there are many CV companies on the internet professing to provide a Professional CV Service, you will find the majority are merely typing services. Here at CVSi, each document is assigned to one Professional CV Writer with at least 20 years' experience in your field of expertise.
Will my confidential information be secure ?
YES - all compilation work is undertaken in-house at CVSi. Each document is individually written to maximise impact and command attention. Many CV Companies on the internet distribute assignments to Freelance CV Writers, but this method of operation simply cannot be secure. Here, at CVSi, client confidentiality is paramount and we have been registered under the Data Protection Act since 1984.
